Scott founded DesignTek Engineering in 2003. In his rare free moments, he loves music, is a huge Chicago Blackhawks fan, enjoys boating and is a proud father of three children.
Professionally, Scott has worked in the field of land development for over 25 years. As an owner, partner, managing member and vice president of engineering services, Scott has designed and oversaw the development of thousands of acres of land throughout the Chicagoland area as well as north west Indiana. Scott has been an active member of the Southwest Suburban Home Builders Association for over 10 years, serving on committees for this organization and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the SSHBA. Scott was appointed to the first zoning board established shortly after the Village of Homer Glen became a municipality in 2003. As an appointed member of this board, Scott helped to write the first ever zoning ordinance for the Village of Homer Glen. The knowledge and relationships that have been formed through the years of participating in these organizations has provided Scott with an understanding of the financial aspects of development and construction and has provided a base that enhances his ability to assist clients in obtaining project approvals in a timely and professional manner.

Sean is an avid race fan and spends his free time enjoying outdoor activites with his two daughters. Looking at this mild mannered gentleman, one would never expect his history as a heavy metal rock enthusiast, however we suggest you ask him more about this in person!
Sean brings a vast knowledge base to DesignTek Engineering. He has participated in many capacities as a Land Development Design Professional over the last two decades. Sean also holds dual professional licenses as a Professional Land Surveyor and a Professional Engineer. As a “new breed” civil engineer, Sean also possesses a strong knowledge of modern computer systems and design software.
