Glenwoodie Golf Course Clubhouse and Parking Lot

DesignTek was contracted by the Village of Glenwood to be the civil engineering firm in charge of design and coordination of a new 14,000 square foot club house, banquet facility, and pro shop along with parking for approximately 400 vehicles on roughly 4.60 acres of land.  The final improvement drawings included grading, storm sewer design, storm water routing to existing golf course pond, sanitary sewer extensions, water main design for looping, fire protection and water service, along with the required permit applications and coordination for Cook County Highway Department approvals, Metropolitan Water Reclamation District approvals, and local jurisdictional permitting. The design incorporated portions of the existing parking lots (staging of improvements) to allow the golf course to remain open and operational during construction.
